Bali is the famous island to visit in the world, many people who come to see the beautiful nature and the unique cultures.   1. Blemantung Waterfall

Blemantung Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall located at Pujungan Village, Pupuan Sub-District, Tabanan Regency about 70 kilometers from Denpasar Town or 2 hours from Ngurah Rai International Airport. The way to this waterfall is so beautiful because on the right and left side you can see green terraced rice. Because Tabanan Regency is the rice producer in Bali so it’s easy to see terraced rice in this Regency.

The location of Blemantung Waterfall is hidden by high cliffs, about 1,5 kilometers from Pujungan Village. The waterfall entrance is unique. About 1 kilometer, the road is a dirt road, with paving cement on the right and left side (for the car wheels). And then the road will change be rocky ground road. After past the uphill bridge, the road change again be an uphill footpath between residents coffee plantation. Although it’s exhausting, but the panorama will you get commensurate with your struggle. The Waterfall from a height about 50 meters will welcome your arrival. The Clean and fresh water there with little pool so make you want to take a bath. This waterfall is on hidden location in the middle of a coffee plantation far from people residents. There are nothing building at this spot, just a temple and broken gazebo. So you can play there freely without fear disturbed by other visitors.

There are three waterfalls in Blemantung Waterfall. The first waterfall (the highest) is located in near of temple, with the height about 50 meters. The second waterfall is smaller than first waterfall, located in under of the first waterfall, about 200 meters from first waterfall. You must follow the river until down. But you can’t see this waterfall from the front or under waterfall, because there is no road to there. The third waterfall located far from the first and second waterfalls. And this waterfall closed by many trees in there. So you can’t see this waterfall clearly.


  1. Carat Waterfall

‘Carat Waterfall’ is amazing waterfall located at Tamblang Village, Kubutambahan District, Singaraja Regency about 85 km from ‘Denpasar’ or 2 hour from Ngurah Rai International Airport. It is given a name ‘Carat’ because supposedly this waterfall looks like ‘caratan’ or jug

At Carat Waterfalls there are two waterfalls, which are large and small. The height of smaller waterfall is about 4 meters. Under both the waterfall there is a pool that is not too deep and is usually used for bathing or just splashing anyone who set foot here.

Then the higher waterfall is about 100 meters and surrounded by high and steep cliffs. However, many visitors can only see the higher waterfall from a distance because it is difficult to reach. And unique, just high waterfall can only be seen from above, not from below.


  1. Dusun Kuning Waterfall

Dusun Kuning Waterfall located in Taman Bali Village, Bangli Regency. About 3 kilometers from Bangli or 2 hours from Ngurah Rai International Airpot. It’s not easy to find this waterfall, because the location hidden by clove plantations. And we must walk from the residents home about 300 meters to reach this waterfall. This waterfall named Dusun Kuning Waterfall because of the waterfall located in Dusun Kuning Village. This waterfall is so fantastic because located at 25 meters altitude above surface of river.

Like the other nature tourist destination in Bali, this waterfall look so beautiful and natural. Because of the Hindus people in there who always adhere to the norms and Hinduism who always try to preserve the nature. Not many people who know about this waterfall and only a few people who come to this waterfall because the hidden location so make this waterfall still nature. Besides has the nature panorama, in Dusun Kuning Waterfall there are hundreds of monkeys who entertain the visitors.

The Monkeys joking with each other, chasing, hanging in the trees, and even fight each other. So, visitors who plan come to Dusun Kuning Waterfall must also bring small snacks such as pastries lightweight, nuts to be given to the mongkeys.


  1. Git Git Waterfal

Git-git waterfall is a famous tourist destination in the northern part of Bali, located in Git-git countryside, Sukasada sub district, Buleleng Regency, about 10 kilometers from Singaraja Town and about 2 hour from Ngurah Rai International Airport with drive a car. To reach the waterfall, I must follow the walkway down until the spot point. The air is cool and fresh, and the water looks so clear and very fresh.

There are several types of waterfalls with different shapes and heights. The first waterfall called Twin Falls, this fall consists of two waterfalls which is sheltered in a narrow cliff surrounded by green trees. The second waterfall is a continuation of the first waterfall the difference is that this fall is higher than the Twin Fall and looks like white clouds falling from the mountain. The third waterfall is called Story Waterfall, but I just can only see this waterfall from the bridge.

Besides the beautiful waterfall, you can also saw wild monkeys and listen many birds take turn to sing. Not far from the waterfall area, there is a relaxing place where you can take rest while viewing the beautiful rice terrace and Buleleng Beach.


  1. Sekumpul Waterfall

Sekumpul Waterfall is the most beautiful waterfall in Bali. Located at Sekumpul Village,  Buleleng Regency about 2 hours from Denpasar Town. To see Sekumpul Waterfall it is requires a lot of energy and struggle. From the parking area, you must walk far, pass a dirt road, down hundreds of stairs, and crossing the river.

If you drive a motorcycle, you can drive from the parking area (near the ticket booths), until reached the end of paving road. After paving road, the road change be narrow dirt road (footpath). Not long after walk in footpath, you will arrive in a ‘Bale Bengong’ (Gazebo) with the amazing Sekumpul Waterfall scenery.

From the ‘Bale Bengong’ you can see the beauty of Sekumpul Waterfall. This waterfall just not has one or two waterfall, but Sekumpul Waterfall has seven waterfalls. It is make Sekumpul Waterfall be different with other waterfall in Bali. That seven waterfall located separately on the cliffs and trees. This waterfall has the different shapes and heights. It is not wrong if many people say this waterfall, is the best waterfall in Bali

From the seven of this waterfall, you just can see two waterfalls from nearby. But two of Sekumpul Waterfall has different shapes and heights. The waterfalls come from different water source. The left waterfall come from the water spring and the other waterfall come from the river.

To approaching Sekumpul Waterfall, you must down to a hundreds of stairs and cross the river or you can pass the new bridge. I recommend you to wearing short pants and sandals because you will cross the deep river (adult thigh) to arrive at front of the waterfall. It is need more struggles to this beautiful waterfall. But your struggle will paid by this amazing waterfall.

Tegunungan Waterfall

This is a waterfall that is located close from Denpasar Town and the only one waterfall in Bali that is located not in the highlands or mountain. Tegenungan Waterfall located at Kemenuh Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency.

The waterfall is sharp drops along the course of a conduit, truly it’s a particularly lovely spot to stay in light of the way that green and nature home including.
