If you want to see monkeys directly when spend your holiday in Bali, you can try to visiting Alas Kedaton, one of the best tourist destinations in Bali. Located at Jl. Raya Alas Kedaton, Kukuh Village, it is about 1 hour from Ngurah Rai International Airport with drive a car.

balisuta-alas_kedaton-7Alas Kedaton is a protected forest, it is 12 hectares area. Beside has many trees, I can also saw many monkeys were jumping from one tree to other trees, walking close from me or they just eating under the trees. But I didn’t be afraid, because the monkeys in this forest has been tame, unless if you are disturb the monkeys. The monkeys in this area were accustomed to see people, so if you come to Alas Kedaton you will greeted by many monkeys.

Although the monkeys has been tame, but they still wild animals, so you must to be careful especially on your stuff, such as your wallet, hand phone, eyeglasses, earrings and other small items. Attempted to put it in the bag and hidden from the monkeys.

DSC_0009There is a big monkey statue that built outside of the forest that has been a playground for the monkeys. Many monkeys were playing on this statue, I think this statue has been a favorite playground for them. And there is also a traditional temple in the middle of the forest and been a favorite place for the visitors to take some photo.

It is recommended place to visit in Bali when you got holidays, where you just book your trip through a reliable travel agent. I believe your trip will be awesome and great experience.
